Arts in Education - Reflections ProgramThe Hawaii State PTSA is a proud sponsor of the Reflections Program. Designed to enhance, rather than replace, a quality arts education, the Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.
PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual arts Reflections Program. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas: literature, musical composition, photography, film production, dance choreography, and visual arts. For over 50 years, this program has encouraged millions of students across the nation to create works of art. National PTA STEM + Families Program
PTA’s vision is that all students have the family and community support needed to access and pursue STEM opportunities and careers. Through fostering a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math through fun activities and by involving families in these experiences together. The National PTA’s STEM + Families initiative will engage students, families, and communities in opportunities to explore... inspire... empower... and educate... STEM possibilities.
National PTA School of Excellence Program
This National PTA program is designed to help PTAs strengthen the family-school partnership and make measurable progress together in one of three key areas: Education, Health & Safety, Arts & Cultural Exploration. Hawaii State PTSA Membership Awards Contests - Contest ends February 28, 2025
Strong membership is a not only a sign of support for your school and all your PTA’s hard work, it also represents a voice of support for Hawaii’s children. What are your plans for your membership drives this year? National PTA has put together some great resources from National PTA's New Membership Campaign in the Membership section of the Back to School Kit to help you recruit new members and retain former members. We want to welcome everyone to be a part of our association, so let’s show how important our children’s education is to us by becoming a member today!
This year, in addition to our ongoing membership increase (10%+) awards, we have created an additional contest for sharing ideas on how you plan to focus on increasing voices for Hawaii's keiki through membership growth.
