At the beginning of each school year, the Hawai'i State PTSA provides training to our local units through Leadership Training Workshops. We meet with you and provide you the tools you need top run your PTA/PTSA. 

Please be sure that we have your current contact information on file so that you receive notification of these dates. If your local unit has not already done so, please complete the Local Unit Contact Form as soon as possible.

Virtual and In-Person Leadership Workshops** 


  • All Regions (Virtual) - Sat., 9/20 @ 8:30 am - 11:30 am​​
  • Kauai Region (In Person at Wilcox ES) - Sat., 9/27 @ 9 am - 12 pm
  • Oahu Region (In Person/Radford HS) - Sat., 10/18 @ 9 am - 12 pm

                                                PTA Local Leader Kit
An updated digital Local Leader Kit is available online to PTA members at: www.ptakit.org. The kit is broken into six categories: Mission, Leadership, Finance, Membership, Fundraising, and Communication.  Be sure to check it out. We promise it will be worth your time to review and it will help you be a more effective PTA leader. (Note: If you have not already done so, you will need to set up an account by providing an email address and password, as well as register for the virtual kit.)
