Parenting Resources
As a parent, you are the most important influence in your child's success in school and in life, and this role does not come with a manual or job description. PTA has gathered resources to help provide parents with best practices to help you navigate this important role in your child's success.

Need Tech help? Check out the Ohana Help Desk!
In response to students and their caregivers navigating through online and blending learning situations, the Hawaii Department of Education has created a technical support help desk. Providing self-service and chat support for families, the Ohana Help Desk will be able to assist with connectivity-related issues (e.g. network and wifi connectivity), access and security issues, device support
(e.g. devices, applications, software updates), and general IT support.

Parents' Guide to Student Success
In response to the Common Core State Standards that have been adopted in Hawaii and 40 other states, the National PTA has put together resource guides to help parents understand what students will be learning in mathematics and language arts in the various grade levels.
These guides also provide parents information on what they can be doing at home to assist their child's learning.
